Emily Newman, a Bristol Biennial artist (Project Electra 1st - 16th June, The Crypt) is taking part in the Pittsburgh Cultural Crawl, along with fellow artist John Pearson. Newman and Pearson, artists from Pittsburgh and Los Angeles have collaborated to create the video installation: “Strange Radiance” - a culmination of works produced throughout the period of their friendship, documenting the results of an eight year conversation between two collaborating artists who have never actually met in ‘real life’. This pledges to be an intriguing project that should resonate with all modern individuals who establish friendships and connections through a virtual and paper world.
