Announcing the Bristol Weekender

Bristol Biennial are excited to announce that we will be partners of the first Bristol Art Weekender.

Over the bank holiday weekend of May 2014, Bristol Art Weekender brings together the city's major art organisations to showcase Bristol as one of the most vibrant and flourishing centres for art in the UK.

Some of the Weekender Highlights include: Jeremy Deller stages ‘English Magic’ at Bristol’s Historic Museum & Art Gallery, Andy Holden's exhibition tours to Spike Island and Richard Woods will transform Works|Projects.

The official Bristol Art Weekender website will go live from 18th March.

The Weekender is produced by Situations in partnership with the city’s primary visual arts venues, artist-run initiatives and arts producers, including Antlers Gallery, Arnolfini, Bristol Festival of Ideas, Bristol Museums Galleries & Archives, Bristol Biennial, BV Studios, Field Art Projects, Future Perfect, Hand in Glove, Royal West of England Academy, Showroom Projects, Spike Island, Spike Associates and Works|Projects.

Bristol Biennial will shortly release details of the major project that we will launch over the weekend. Watch this space!
